Did you know?

Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for up to 80% of cases in older adults.

Understanding Alzheimer’s & Dementia

Alzheimer’s & Dementia are progressive neurological disorders marked by the buildup of abnormal proteins, which disrupt communication between brain cells and eventually lead to cell loss. Over time, this process results in memory impairment, changes in thinking, and altered behavior. The most common form, Alzheimer’s, is linked to beta-amyloid plaques and tau tangles that damage neurons. These changes can significantly impact daily life and independence.

Risk factors include advanced age, genetics, cardiovascular health, and lifestyle choices. Chronic inflammation and oxidative stress are believed to play a role in progression. Management focuses on slowing decline, supporting daily function, and improving quality of life. Early recognition and a combination of medical, lifestyle, and supportive therapies are key to care.

Symptoms of Alzheimer's & Dementia

Alzheimer’s & Dementia often begin with persistent memory lapses that interfere with daily routines and responsibilities. Individuals may misplace items, forget recent conversations, or repeat questions without realizing it. These early symptoms can be subtle, sometimes mistaken for normal aging, and may go unnoticed for a while.

As the condition advances, language difficulties, confusion about time or place, and trouble with problem-solving become more apparent. People may struggle to follow conversations, manage finances, or complete familiar tasks. Changes in mood, personality, or social withdrawal are also common and can be distressing for both the individual and their loved ones.

In later stages, severe disorientation, agitation, and loss of independence often require ongoing support. Individuals may lose the ability to recognize loved ones or perform basic self-care. Physical symptoms such as sleep disturbances and reduced mobility can develop. Each person’s experience is unique, and symptoms can progress at different rates.

Traditional Treatments

Standard treatment for Alzheimer’s & Dementia focuses on managing symptoms and supporting daily living. Medications such as cholinesterase inhibitors and memantine may help with memory and cognitive function, though effects are often modest. Behavioral therapies and environmental adjustments can improve safety and independence, while structured routines support orientation and comfort.

Lifestyle interventions like a brain-healthy diet, regular exercise, and social engagement are encouraged to promote overall well-being. Supportive care addresses sleep issues, mood changes, and caregiver needs. While there is no cure, a combination of medical, behavioral, and supportive strategies aims to slow progression and enhance quality of life.

How IV Therapy May Help

IV nutrient therapy at The DRIPBaR is designed to deliver targeted vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that may support brain health and cognitive function. By providing nutrients directly into the bloodstream, this approach can help optimize hydration, reduce oxidative stress, and promote cellular repair, which are important factors in neurological wellness. Licensed nurses oversee each session to ensure safety and individualized attention.

Our services are tailored to complement existing care plans, offering a comfortable and supportive environment for those seeking additional help with memory and cognitive clarity. While not a cure, these therapies may help manage symptoms and support overall quality of life. By addressing factors such as neuroinflammation and energy metabolism, IV therapy can be a proactive part of a broader wellness strategy. Regular sessions may help individuals and caregivers explore new ways to maintain brain function and resilience.

Nutrient Support for Brain Wellness

Certain IV therapies provide nutrients that may help support cognitive clarity and brain function. These offerings focus on promoting cellular energy, reducing oxidative stress, and supporting neurological health.

NAD+

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) is a crucial coenzyme involved in energy production and DNA repair within cells. This intravenous therapy delivers NAD+ directly to support mitochondrial function and enhance cellular resilience. By bypassing digestive limitations, it offers faster absorption and targeted metabolic support. The treatment may help improve mental clarity, reduce fatigue, and support overall vitality. It is designed for individuals seeking proactive wellness and cognitive enhancement. NAD+ levels naturally decline with age and stress, making replenishment important for maintaining health. This therapy provides a science-based approach to support long-term cellular function.

Nicotinamide Riboside (NR)

Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) is a vitamin B3 derivative that serves as a direct precursor to NAD+, a coenzyme essential for energy production and DNA repair. Delivered intravenously, this therapy bypasses digestive barriers for rapid absorption and utilization. It supports mitochondrial biogenesis, enhancing energy output and endurance. The infusion also promotes neurological function and cognitive clarity by boosting neuronal metabolism. Additionally, it strengthens antioxidant defenses to protect cells from oxidative damage. This therapy is designed to support overall vitality and healthy aging through targeted cellular support.

Just wanted to post my experience with the DripBar in Keller. I have been going on a golf trip every year for the last 14 years. We play 108 holes of golf in four days in Hot Springs Village Arkansas. Every year EXCEPT this one I would come home wiped out. I used to take a few days to recover. This year I took an Allstar iv and a B-12 shot before my trip and it made world of difference. I had more energy and was not hardly sore at all after my trip. I highly recommend infusions and I will continue using them every month.
